An active worker is anyone whose profile is set to Active for any part of your monthly billing cycle. Whether they're active for 1 day or all 30, the cost is a flat $1 for that entire month — it's based on their active status, not how many shifts they logged. The only way to avoid the charge for a given month is to set them Inactive before that billing cycle starts and leave them inactive for the whole month.

To skip payment for a worker who won't be working at all during a given month, simply set their profile status to "Inactive" before the billing cycle starts. As long as they remain inactive for the entire month, you will not be charged for them. You can reactivate them with one click when they return.

No. Hourvy is billed to your business only, at $1 per active worker per month. Workers use it for free, always.

Because we don't require a credit card to start your trial, you will never be charged automatically. Near the end of your 30 days, we'll remind you to add a payment method if you want to keep using Hourvy. If you decide it's not for you, your account simply pauses — no cancellation calls needed.
